Color On The Backdrop gives kids the chance to add their own color to a real, large-scale stage backdrop I painted for Smash Mouth—the band behind the hit song “All Star” from Shrek. After the backdrop toured with the band, Smash Mouth donated it back to me for kids’ art activities. Kids can also begin at home with the 'My Backdrop Rocks!' coloring page and have their finished designs included in the Kids’ Gallery and prize drawing.
Parents or guardians can download the exclusive My Backdrop Rocks coloring page so kids can create their own concert-backdrop design.
Finished artwork can be included in the Kids’ Gallery and entered into a prize drawing. One selected design will be recreated as a real, hand-painted mini backdrop for their room.
